Ee­lis Luo­ma­la

I am a positive and diligent final-year business student. I have gained experience in value-added taxation both at the Finnish Tax Administration and in the private sector at a Big Four firm. Through these roles, I have already developed a broad and practical understanding of how VAT is applied from both an authority and a consulting perspective early in my career.

What particularly motivates me in VAT is its versatility and the need to carefully consider even highly detailed and nuanced issues. I am especially interested in specialized areas of VAT, such as matters related to real estate, construction services, and healthcare and medical services.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tampere University and am currently completing my Master’s studies in tax law. In my free time, I enjoy staying active and engaging in a variety of sports. During winter, you are most likely to find me on cross-country ski tracks, and in summer on running trails or in baseball stadiums.

I am a big film enthusiast and regularly visit movie theaters.
