19.6.2024

Retta Isännöinti has acquired the share capital of Tampereen KV-Isännöinti Oy. Katariina Kivipensas and Kari Mäkelä, owner entrepreneurs of Tampereen KV-Isännöinti Oy, comment on the transaction in Retta isännöinti's press release:

"The property management industry is developing rapidly and there are many new demands and expectations in the industry. With the acquisition, we get wider shoulders to meet new challenges. It was important for us to find an expert successor in whose hands we can trust both our customers and our company's highly skilled property management professionals."

Mergers and acquisitions

Lecklé's team of experts advised the seller at various stages of the transaction up to the closing of the transaction, providing legal, tax and financial advice.

The following Lecklé’s representatives were involved in this assignment: Heikki LeppänenLauri Torkkeli ja Suvi Lindfelt.

Katariina Kivipensas from Tampereen KV-Isännöinti Oy:

"We took care of the first stages of the acquisition on our own, and after the DD phase and negotiations on the main lines had been conducted with the buyer, we wanted to hire an expert to help us go through the transaction documents. Lecklé provided us with invaluable assistance in the final and most important aspect of our acquisition. The expertise of Lecklé's team helped us understand the contents of the deeds of sale and, together with the buyer, modify them into a form that would allow the sale to be closed in a way that pleased all parties. The professionalism and attitude of the Lecklé employees were great throughout the project and it was very pleasant to work with the team. A positive attitude and understandability played a big part in this story, and they gave us the impression that the company is strongly implementing its motto: #positiivistajuridiikkaa."

Heikki Leppänen from Lecklé Oy:

"There is a consolidation similar to that of the accounting firm industry in the property management industry, as large players seek to respond to the rapid digital development and new technologies challenging the industry through acquisitions. In addition, according to a 2023 survey by the Finnish Real Estate Management Association, many property management professionals will also retire in following few years. At Lecklé, we help entrepreneurs, for example, with generational changes and the sale of a business on a turnkey basis."

Lecklé congratulates both parties on the successful deal!
